In this featured volume of "Shot Glass Diaries," Ian invites on a guest to help him tell the story of a 2015 trip where they went to a Foo Fighters concert in Washington DC for the 4th of July. After going down a day early to sightsee, the all day concert put on by the Foo Fighters at RFK Stadium to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary as well as the release of their album and HBO docu-series "Sonic Highways" featured live music from one of the most eclectic bills in history: ranging from Trombone Shorty and Trouble Funk, to LL Cool J, to Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, to an amazing Foo Fighters set, despite Dave Grohl having his recently broken leg propped up in a custom-built throne.
